Crucell to Webcast Presentation at the Needham & Company Biotech Conference

Leiden, The Netherlands, June 4, 2002 - PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Dutch antibody and vaccine company Crucell N.V. (Nasdaq: CRXL; Euronext) today announced that it will present at The Needham & Company First Annual Biotech Conference on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The conference is being held at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City, New York. Crucell's presentation will be webcast live for investors and available for replay for 60 days following the conference. The company has furthermore developed a new flu vaccine production system, based on its patented human cell system PER.C6(TM). PER.C6(TM) is widely embraced by the industry for the production of viral vectors and vaccines.
 
Crucell shares trade on the NASDAQ and Euronext. Crucell is based in Leiden, The Netherlands. Crucell currently employs 180 people.
