Crucell N.V. was incorporated in October 2000 as the holding company for IntroGene B.V., Crucell's predecessor company, following the merger of Introgene B.V. with U-BiSys B.V. On October 27, 2000 Crucell was listed on both Euronext (Amsterdam) and NASDAQ stock exchanges. On February 22, 2006 Crucell was also listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange.
